Those who had applied for inclusion of there name in the voter list in the last month can check the status at their respective Corporation Zonal Offices.
Please ensure you take the acknowledgement slip with you and also preferrably information about the “part no.”
Part No. is the booklet in which the voter list for your area/street is given.You can find it in the Election Commission Website.
I reside in T Nagar & had applied for inclusion of my name & that of my wife in the voter list. The necessary filled in forms were submitted at the Kodampakkam Corporation building two months back. How do I check wether the inclusion has been effected? How do I get to check the updated voter list & how do I poll my vote on the 13th May ‘09.Can you please explain me on this.

I am residing at Kilkattalai which comes under Sriperumpudur constituency for Lok sabha election 2009. I found my name is missing in the voter list provided. My Identification No. is DBL2040897. I am unable to vote due to voting slip not available, which is absolutely un fair. I have been residing in the same address for the past 12 years and except mine all other names in my family is appearing. It is so surprised. I do not understand the updation mechanism which is being carried out at the Great dept of the country. If possible, please give me a solution before this evening through my mail id. It is not the question of wasting a vote but my right is been neglected.
